Like a child

From Drop Box

Tonight, Aya and I began our month of going to at least one event a night. It started from needing to network, and be in the real world meeting people, not just on line, and working at our studio.

I hate going out. I hate feeling vulnerable in a room of people that I don't know.

Aya and I were talking the other day and she suggested that we go to one thing a night, for at least a half an hour. Tonight, that's what we did.

I still felt like a looser dork, but we will continue doing it, and we'll see what happens.

flush twice

Last night I finished 2 pieces. One for a benefit show in New York, and the other for a show in Chicago. I felt so anxious while I was working on them. I told Aya how uncomfortable I felt while putting these together and sending them out. She reminded me that I feel incredibly anxious every time I finish a project and or make artwork.

In Israel

Today is our second day in Israel. Its Aya's sister's Birthday, an. We'll be heading to Yaffa in a bit.

Aya and I both were planning for the worst case scenarios, but never gave a thought to enjoying this trip. We're having an amazing time!

It reminds me of the troubleshooting we do before shoots. We look for all the problems that might arise, but don't remember the fun we always have.

We've made a pact to remember and remind each other when we forget they we always enjoy what we're doing, except when we're planning and expecting the worst.

flickr Getty

It's so cool! Today I got an e-mail from Getty images, through my flickr account, requesting that I add the pictures above, to there stock licensing. It's also so cool that 4 of the nine pictures are of Aya! That makes me so happy :  )

I am so tiered though... I need to watter the plants, then run to bed.
